Radio manufacturer Sangean has really delivered all you could want in a table top network radio. The unit is presented in a stylish gloss black finish with a touch panel for easy control.
The DDR63 is packed full of features including;
CD Player - Plays all compact discs including CDR's (but not SACD)
Internet Radio - Connect to over 15,000 internet radio stations from all over the world. You can select by country and/or genre.
DAB+ Radio - Tune into local digital radio station for crystal clear reception and track/artist info on screen.
iPod Dock - Plays and charges your iPod and iPhone in a convenient slot on top the the unit. This is angled for ease of viewing your iPod/iPhone.
USB/SD Slot - For playback and recording onto USB drives or SD cards. This can be used for recording any of the sources (Internet Radio/Internet Radio/DAB+ Radio or iPod/Pad) directly onto your USB/SD card for transfering to another device or simply for playback of your music. (saves having to burn a CD)
Network Music Player - Stream music from you PC/MAC by simply putting your music files into a shared folder. Great feature if you have a large music collection on your computer.
The unit sounds good for such a unit, with a nice warm sound and deep, rich bass. Not quite as good as a dedicated micro system, by alot more functionality for the price.
If you are limited in space (such as on a kitchen bench or bedside table) then this is a great option, with great functionality and performance.
For a limited time we are offering these units for $595, saving you $104.
*NOTE- A network router(wired or wireless) is required for internet radio/network streaming functions.
