The Wharfedale Linton represents one of the most iconic models in the long history of Wharfedale loudspeakers. A model that embodied the Wharfedale pioneering research through the 60s, 70s and 80s, with a bloodline dating back to 1965, LINTON has always been manufactured according to the Wharfedale principles of quality and value for money. The new Wharfedale LINTON further exemplifies these two edicts, balancing fine craftsmanship, natural sound quality and affordability inside a beautifully proportioned loudspeaker that has been bought in its millions right across the globe through it’s various incarnations.
The original LINTON was well known for its warm, rich and natural sounding character and the new Wharfedale LINTON retains that standing but imbues it with an open, detailed performance that will entice you to explore your whole music collection, once more.

60's chic, with a modern tweak.

Break out the black wax, dust off the valve amps, and turn it up to eleven because Wharfedale's original 3-way loudspeaker is coming in hot. Linton, our latest Heritage Series offering, is one for the ages. With an authentic 60s 3-way design, true timber finishes and stand mounting that stores your records, Linton speaks directly to the children of the revolution - those who lived it and the rest that wish we had. Revisit music's golden age thanks to Wharfedale's all-new Linton Heritage loudspeaker

Classic taste, new standard.

The original Linton incarnations of the 60s delivered rich, natural tones. Today's Linton is no different. However, with a swag of new design elements and material selections, like Kevlar woven woofers and high-flux ferrite magnets, new Linton also handles the demands of a 21st century loudspeaker. You can still taste the whiskey in Janis Joplin's gritty howl. But Linton will throw down with the best of today's top artists to deliver deeper bass, clearer mids and even greater dynamics than ever before.

Looks like Keith. Sounds like Jagger.

Linton is a 3-way stand-mounted loudspeaker featuring a 25mm textile dome tweeter, a 135mm midrange driver and 200mm Kevlar woven bass woofer. The separation of mid and bass drivers combined with a larger chassis size of 565 x 300 x 330mm (ex. stands), makes Linton perfect for medium to large listening spaces. Enjoy superb dynamics, refined clarity, and deep, beautiful bass from a loudspeaker that looks and sounds like it belongs in the rock n' roll hall of fame.
