The KEF LS50 Wireless II combines active speakers, amplification and network streaming in a compact stereo system. Stream directly from your favourite music services, connect your television or add existing audio sources, with everyday control through the KEF Connect app.

Uni-Q drivers with Metamaterial Absorption Technology

KEF’s 12th-generation Uni-Q driver places the tweeter at the centre of the mid/bass cone, helping both drivers behave as a single sound source. This arrangement produces consistent dispersion and precise stereo imaging. Metamaterial Absorption Technology behind the tweeter absorbs unwanted rearward sound, reducing the colouration it can introduce.

Dedicated amplification for every driver

Each speaker contains a 280W Class D amplifier for its mid/bass driver and a separate 100W Class AB amplifier for its tweeter. KEF’s Music Integrity Engine coordinates the drivers through digital signal processing, managing their timing and response for an integrated presentation.

Streaming built in

AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Roon Ready support give you several ways to play music. The KEF Connect app also provides access to compatible streaming services, internet radio and podcasts. Network playback supports PCM files up to 24-bit/384kHz, while Bluetooth offers a straightforward connection for compatible devices.

Connections for music and television

HDMI eARC brings television audio into the stereo system, alongside optical, coaxial and analogue inputs for other sources. A subwoofer output on each speaker allows one or two subwoofers to be added. The speakers communicate wirelessly or through the supplied interspeaker cable.

Sound settings for your room

KEF Connect provides sound adjustments to suit speaker placement and personal preference. Desk and wall compensation, treble adjustment and bass extension settings help tailor the balance, with additional controls for integrating a subwoofer.

Purpose-built support

Designed to partner the KEF LS50 Wireless II and LS50 Meta, the S2 Floor Stands provide a dedicated platform for positioning the speakers at listening height. Their mounting system secures the speakers to the top plates using fixing bolts.

Steel and aluminium construction

Steel top and base plates combine with aluminium columns to form a rigid supporting structure. The columns can accommodate optional inert filler to increase the stands’ mass.

Integrated cable management

Cable routing through the columns helps conceal wiring, keeping the installation tidy without leaving cables hanging behind the speakers. This is particularly useful with active speakers, where both power and signal connections may need routing.

Floor spikes and protection

Floor spikes provide the stands’ contact points, while protective spike discs allow them to be used on wooden and other hard floors. Supplied as a pair, the S2 stands complete the system with coordinated support and practical cable management.
