DESCRIPTION

The Chord Company Shawline Digital Tuned ARAY RCA cable connects a source’s coaxial digital output to a compatible digital input on a DAC or amplifier. A single RCA-to-RCA cable carries the digital audio connection, with 0.5 m, 1 m, 2 m and 3 m lengths available.

Hand-built in the UK, Shawline Digital uses silver-plated solid-core oxygen-free copper conductors with PTFE insulation. Its Tuned ARAY arrangement employs identical shielded signal and return conductors, complemented by high-density braid shielding and a dual-layer damping jacket.

ChorAlloy-plated RCA contacts complete the connection. The cable has a published characteristic impedance of 75 Ω, matching the requirements of coaxial S/PDIF connections.
