The beating heart of the 3000 Micro R|Evolution is a pair of active, side-firing 9-inch high-excursion drivers custom-built by the SVS design team to maximize output from a small enclosure. The drivers operate in perfect unison, acoustically and electrically in parallel to generate powerful, controlled low frequencies.

By firing in opposite directions, mechanical forces are canceled, creating a sonically inert cabinet and eliminating unwanted vibration, one of the biggest limitations of compact subwoofers. What you hear is pure sonic output without a trace of distortion

Each high-excursion active 9-inch driver employs a progressive inverted surround to ensure maximum linear displacement. This is imperative for moving massive amounts of air and generating sound pressure levels you can feel at the deepest frequencies from such a small enclosure.

Advanced materials, precision motor design, and optimized suspension components ensure linearity and accuracy even at maximum excursion.

The pioneering design combines the efficiency of a Class D amplifier with the ability to move massive current through fully discrete MOSFETs, delivering outstanding real-world subwoofer performance at all drive levels.

High Current MOSFET Output with Class-D Efficiency allows the STA-1200D2 amplifier to move massive amounts of current through the fully discrete MOSFETs, enabling the dual active 9” drivers to fully maximize on their potential with reference output, while maintaining control and accuracy.

Performance Enhancing SVS Switch Mode Power Supply maximizes system performance under all operating conditions by ensuring a consistent 160V rail voltage for the amplifier. Digital monitoring of the AC input mains voltage tunes the power supply for optimal performance in any environment.
