Chord ShawlineX is a shielded speaker cable with 16 AWG silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors, XLPE insulation and foil-and-braid shielding. Sold unterminated per metre to suit your installation.
The Chord Company ShawlineX speaker cable is supplied unterminated and sold per metre, allowing you to choose the lengths needed between your amplifier and speakers.
ShawlineX builds on the conductor arrangement used in Chord’s RumourX speaker cable. Its two 16 AWG silver-plated oxygen-free copper conductors use XLPE insulation and a twisted-pair layout. An internal PVC jacket surrounds the insulated conductors beneath a combined foil-and-braid screen.
The shielding comprises high-density foil and a metal braid with 93% coverage. A translucent PVC outer jacket protects the assembly, with an overall cable diameter of 9.1 mm.
