THE CHORD COMPANY ShawlineX Aray RCA Cables
The Chord Company ShawlineX ARAY is a stereo RCA interconnect pair, hand-built in the UK with silver-plated conductors, XLPE insulation and composite shielding. ChorAlloy-plated VEE3 RCA plugs connect your source components to an amplifier, or a preamplifier to a power amplifier.
The Chord Company ShawlineX ARAY RCA cable provides a stereo analogue connection between hi-fi components. Use it to connect a CD player, streamer, DAC or phono stage to an amplifier, or between a separate preamplifier and power amplifier. Supplied as a pair, it carries the left and right audio channels through individual RCA connections.
Each cable is hand-built in the UK using silver-plated conductors arranged in Chord’s ARAY geometry. Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation separates and supports the conductors, while composite shielding provides protection against electrical interference across a wide bandwidth. This shielding is particularly useful for low-level analogue connections routed behind equipment racks alongside power supplies and other cables.
Both ends are fitted with Chord VEE3 RCA plugs featuring ChorAlloy-plated contacts. ChorAlloy is Chord’s proprietary connector-plating finish, used at the contact surfaces between the plugs and your equipment’s RCA sockets.
ShawlineX RCA is also suitable for RCA-equipped turntables.
