Wireless Music Systems

Wireless Music Systems have some of the latest and greatest technology to allow you to listen to, and enjoy your favorite music wirelessly.

In this category, we have included a range of Network Streamers that have audio streaming capabilities, such as DLNA, Bluetooth, or AirPlay, or systems that have Multi-Room capabilities, such as the Sonos range, Heos by Denon, and Bose SoundTouch.

The Multi-Room systems from Sonos, Heos by Denon, and Bose SoundTouch are unfortunately not interchangable. You cannot pair a Sonos Play3 with a Heos 7, etc. You will want to make sure that the music system you are interested in provides the features and performance you want.

Network streamers will be able to support DLNA (from Android and Microsoft devices), and AirPlay (From iOS devices), and will usually come with their own app for your smart device to control it. Network streamers are primarily designed to pull audio from your music library, or internet radio, and in many cases includes options for bluetooth streaming and Spotify Connect if you want to stream music from the internet.

Wireless Music Systems will rely on a source in one way or another. For example, network streamers, and Sonos/Heos/Soundtouch will require a connection to your home network, via ethernet or Wi-Fi, and will work well if you have a stable internet connection, and a strong enough Wi-Fi signal throughout your home. Bluetooth Wireless Music Systems will rely on whatever Bluetooth enabled device you have (iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Laptop, Smartphone etc) to stream audio, and will play wirelessly whatever audio you have playing on your device, weather it be Youtube, a game of some description, music from your music player app, Spotify etc.
